RTX- Citizenship Verification | US Person Proofing
Please see the following overview of Pratt & Whitney’s security onboarding process and required actions. We ask that you read the information below and complete the action items noted in green, let your TA know if you have any questions!
Process Overview: Pratt & Whitney (P&W) is requiring that they verify your citizenship status before they can give your computer access or allow you to start working. This process is completed by you meeting with the Pratt & Whitney/RTX manager via Zoom video where you will be required to be on camera to show your approved documents on camera to the manager by holding your documents up to the camera for validation.
Approved Documents: You are required to have and show one of the 3 following document options.
- ORGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE & VALID PHOTO ID with you for your proofing appointment. Please review your birth certificate to ensure that it was issued from a government office and has a formal seal and signature.
- CERTIFIED COPY BIRTH CERTIFICATE & VALID PHOTO ID with you for your proofing appointment. Please review your certified copy birth certificate to ensure that it was issued from a government office and has a raised seal and signature.
- VALID US PASSPORT with you for your proofing appointment. Please review your US Passport to ensure that it is valid and not expired.
Photos of documents are not approved; you must have valid certified documents. If you do not have one of these approved document options, please ask us how to obtain one.
